Mick Foster is a UK based saxophonist and composer. Mick has written pieces for various ensembles; big bands, brass groups, chamber ensembles and jazz small groups. Groups that have played Mick's music include the London Jazz Orchestra, Onyx Brass, Quartz Saxophone Quartet and Docklands Sinfonia. Some of Mick's saxophone & piano music is currently on the ABRSM and Trinity College syllabuses, and is published by Saxtet Publications.
Mick plays all the saxophones from soprano to bass, and his music is contemporary, melodic and reflects his wide ranging musical interests.
